never receive outbound calls from Gail
, while still allowing inbound calls to function normally.
What’s new

- Available on the Contactspage under theDo Not Calltab.
Outbound call blocking
- Any number added to the Do Not Call list will not receive any outbound calls from Gail.
- This applies across all campaigns and use cases.
Inbound behavior

- Inbound calls continue to work as they did before.
Campaign outcomes
- If a campaign attempts to call a number on the Do Not Call list, the result will appear as: Do Not Call
Try Script behavior
- If you attempt to use Try Scriptwith a number on the Do Not Call list, the system will display:“This number is blocked.”
We’ve added a new
Security
tab in the admin settings, based on common customer requests, so teams can align Gail with their internal security policies.
What’s included:
- Session timeouts:Control how long Gail should wait before logging a user out due to inactivity, and how often users must re-authenticate even if they remain active.
- Password rotation requirements:Enforce password changes every X days to meet organizational compliance standards.
- IP address restrictions:Limit logins to approved IP ranges, such as specific office locations or a company VPN.
We’ve moved the Gail portal to a new home at app.meetgail.com for a more reliable and consistent experience.
Alongside this, we’ve rolled out major improvements to Calendly scheduling and overall stability.
―
New Portal Domain: app.meetgail.com
The customer portal now lives at . This will be the primary place to access your account, manage settings, and interact with your assistant going forward. This migration sets the foundation for future improvements across the platform.

Improved Calendly Integration

We’ve upgraded how your AI assistant schedules meetings using Calendly, making the process more accurate and hands-off.
You can now connect your Calendly account using a Personal Access Token, choose which event types are available to callers, and let your assistant manage scheduling end to end.
How scheduling works
- The assistant asks callers for their preferred day and time
- Availability is checked in the correct timezone and presented clearly
- Timezones are automatically adjusted if the caller is in a different location
- All details are confirmed before booking, including date, time, timezone, meeting type, name, and email
- Appointments are booked directly on your Calendly calendar
Event type control
Only event types you explicitly enable will be offered, allowing you to keep certain meetings internal or limit availability to specific consultation types.
> Note: A paid Calendly plan (Standard or higher) is required to generate a Personal Access Token.

Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements
We’ve fixed several minor issues and edge cases to improve reliability, performance, and the overall experience across the app.
We’ve made it easier to manage your contact lists and cleaner to keep your data organized.
More control when deleting contact lists
When deleting a contact list, you now have the option to also delete all contacts contained in that list. This helps reduce manual cleanup and gives you clearer control over what stays in your organization.
Before confirming, you’ll see exactly how many contacts will be affected, so there are no surprises.

Continued improvements to account security
As part of this release, we’ve also made behind-the-scenes improvements to our authentication system. These updates are part of our ongoing work to continuously strengthen security and reliability across Gail, making account access even safer while keeping everything seamless for you.
No action is required on your end. Everything just works.
As always, thanks for building with Gail. More improvements coming soon.
We’ve rolled out two powerful updates to help you run smoother than ever:
- Contact Search– Quickly find the exact contact you’re looking for without endless scrolling. Speed through your day with ease.
- Holiday Hours for GailAgent– You can now set your holiday hours right from theReceptionist > Knowledgetab. This ensures Gail knows when your business is closed and can handle conversations accordingly.

Give these new features a try and let us know how they’re making your work easier!

Updated Contacts & Calls Pages
We’ve refreshed the design of two key areas to improve your experience:
- Contacts Page– Now cleaner and more intuitive, making it easier to view and manage your contacts.
- Calls Page– Redesigned with a fresh look andnew search and filter optionsso you can quickly find the calls you care about.
Try it out and let us know what you think!

In your settings, you can enable which languages you want to allow.

You can now search and filter more easily on the voices, and we have added more for every language!

And with the additional languages we know it will be hard to know every single one so we have added a translation feature on the call transcripts.
We are glad many of you have started using GailGPT to gain further insight into your data. We have an exciting new feature added today. You can now upload files to have Gail understand more about your business in any questions you have. You can include data that relates to your calls to find interesting patterns or you can talk to Gail about a business plan you are working on. The possibilities are endless!

Other updates
- Major Gail update is ready, for those that have not already upgraded their account please do so using the banner at the top. For those that have joined us more recently we have already created your account in the upgraded system.
- We are working hard on many improvements across the board but some large updates are coming in the next month to help improve the organization of the Gail dashboard.

GailGPT
We have been working on something we believe will really help each organization to gather information on how GAIL is performing and give actionable insights into your data. We have been creating a tool we are calling GailGPT which allows you to ask many questions on your calls.
This tool is in Beta but we could not wait to release it to let everyone try it. It only stores your questions for 30 days and can check on your last thousand calls. Those limits will be removed as we mature this new feature.
